Betsy's foundation is in the craft. During 34 years in publishing, she has succeeded as writer, publisher, and managing editor, providing editorial services for independent authors and directing editorial production for dozens of illustrated history books — hiring and coordinating authors, editors, and photo editors while writing and editing everything from chapter content to cover and website copy. Before that, five years as a newspaper copyeditor and reporter, working deadlines and teaching grammar workshops to newsroom staff. Her instinct for language is matched by her discipline for detail.
