Your book, done right.

Editorial expertise and production precision — under one roof.

In 1996, Betsy was already a veteran of two newsrooms. Mark was building Blondins' Assignment America — one of the first websites to document travel online in real time. The site chronicled our family's educational experiment across the U.S., and that work caught attention. A paper we wrote on technology and education for the U.S. Department of Education landed us as keynote speakers at a national convention in Chicago. Words and technology, already inseparable.

Betsy moved into book publishing as Managing Editor, overseeing dozens of illustrated history books. Mark built a career in technology through the early internet era. Between us, we were accumulating exactly the skills a modern independent publisher needs.

In 2008 we published our first book — Migraine Expressions. In 2016, At Home Abroad. Along the way: other people's books. Dancing with Life. From the Ground Up. Maximum Impact Education. Each one different. The same standard throughout.
